2/2012 Appointment of supervising person - Orange Polska

Pursuant to art. 5, clause 1, item 22 of the Decree of the Minister of Finance of 19 February 2009 on current and periodic information disclosed by issuers of securities and the terms governing recognition of information required by the laws of a non-member state as equivalent information (Journal of Laws of 2009 no. 33, item 259, with amendments), the Management Board of Telekomunikacja Polska S.A. (“TP S.A.”) informs about appointment of a person supervising TP S.A.

On January 5, 2012, the Supervisory Board of TP S.A., pursuant to art. 19, clause 7 of TP S.A.’s Articles of Association, appointed Mr. Henri de Joux as its member.


Henri de Joux, age 35, is currently deputy General Secretary of France Telecom-Orange, notably in charge of corporate governance, group real estate, legal affairs, public relations. He is also board member at Mobinil, the first mobile operator in Egypt.

He joined France Telecom in 2001 and since then has occupied various positions within the Group, first in the field of mergers and acquisitions and as secretary of the board of France Télecom S.A. He has also spent two years in Spain, in charge of integration projects for the Group's operations in Spain.

Mr. Henri de Joux is a graduate of the EM Lyon Business School and also holds a legal degree. He is currently auditor at the Institute of Higher National Defence Studies (IHEDN).

The activities of Mr. Henri de Joux outside of TP S.A. do not conflict with his function at TP S.A.
