Orange Polska replaces TP and PTK Centertel as from today

A merger of Telekomunikacja Polska and PTK Centertel has become fact. As from today, they will act as a single company, Orange Polska. The merger involves no changes in agreements with customers.

The merger has been effected by transfer of all the assets of PTK Centertel to TP. The new company will be managed by the existing management structure of the Orange Polska Group. The merger aims to improve operational efficiency and enhance customer care. It will simplify business processes and support the portfolio development. The change of the name is the culmination of a long process of the internal integration of both companies.

“We already offer the broadest portfolio of convergent services in the market. We want to maintain the leadership position by value in both mobile and fixed markets. Following a formal merger between TP and PTK Centertel, we will be in a better position to make use of Orange Polska’s potential and the power of convergence, which differentiates us from the competition,” said Bruno Duthoit, President and CEO of Orange Polska.

The changes in the structure of Orange Polska will not result in the necessity to sign new service agreements by the existing customers of TP or PTK Centertel. Neither will they affect the terms of service provision. In consideration of some fraudulent attempts against our customers in the past, we would like to inform that any potential irregularities may be reported using our toll-free hotline, 800 500 005.
