124/2010 Change in the position of TP S.A. shares - Orange Polska

Pursuant to art. 70, clause 1 of the Law of 29 July 2005 on public offering and the conditions for introducing financial instruments to the organised trading system and on public companies (Journal of Laws of 2005, No. 184, item 1539, as amended), the Management Board of Telekomunikacja Polska S.A. (“Company”, “TP S.A.”) hereby informs that on 18 October 2010 it received a notification from Capital Group International, Inc. (“CGII”) informing that as of 15 October 2010, CGII holds 67.546.647 shares of TP S.A., corresponding to 67.546.647 votes at the Shareholders’ Meeting (AGM) , and constituting a 5.057% stake in the Company, as well as, entitling to 5.057% of the total voting power at TP S.A. AGM.

CGII is a parent company of five companies that serve as investment managers to various institutional clients around the globe: Capital Guardian Trust Company in the US; Capital International Inc, in the USA and Singapore; Capital International Limited in the United Kingdom; Capital International Sarl in Switzerland; Capital International K.K. in Japan.

Neither CGII nor any of its subsidiaries own shares in TP S.A. for their own account. The shares of TP S.A. are owned by accounts under discretionary investment management of one or more of the investment management companies described above.
